Some restaurants will even have specials themed around Ann Arbor’s bicentennial birthday happening this year.

More than 30 eateries are participating this year, according to host Main Street Ann Arbor.

Running from Feb.20-25, eateries participating in the event will have special menus for two, chef demonstrations, family meals to-go and lunch specials.

The event, first started in 2021, will run in conjunction with Ann Arbor Restaurant Week so that townies and Tree Town visitors can explore the area’s top-notch culinary and hospitality scenes.

Between Feb. 21-26, Tree Town eateries will be offering special multi-course menus, family-sized to-go meals and offer food and drink demonstrations. Traditionally, Ann Arbor Restaurant Week specials have revolved around fixed prices. The annual foodie celebration coincides with the first-ever Ann Arbor Hotel Week which focuses on the area’s hotel and hospitality industry. Ann Arbor Restaurant Week will take place between Feb. 21-26. Take a break from the everyday routine by having a staycation during the inaugural Ann Arbor Hotel Week. Destination Ann Arbor has partnered with Washtenaw County Hotel Association to celebrate Tree Town’s hotel and hospitality industry with a week of exclusive rates and specials at local hotels. This year, the first-ever Ann Arbor Hotel Week coincides with the annual Ann Arbor Restaurant Week. Participating hotels include Graduate Ann Arbor, The Kensington, Weber’s Boutique Hotel and Residence Inn Ann Arbor Downtown, among others.

Ann Arbor is known for its hip restaurants and now you’ll have a chance to sample over 50 restaurants. Host Tati Amare spoke to Meredith Bruckner, the Community News Producer for allaboutannarbor.com and Adam Baru owner of Mani Osteria, Mikette, and Isalita restaurants about what kinds of great meals you can enjoy during Ann Arbor Restaurant Week. Ann Arbor Restaurant Week is January 12 through January 17. Baru featured all 3 of his Ann Arbor restaurants on Live in the D. Isalita is Mexican and its features include tacos and tuna tostado, Mikette is a French bistro, and Mani Osteria features will include handmade pasta with a giant meatball.
