Celebrate Oktoberfest in this brewery’s biergarten
Grosse Pointe Park – Here at Atwater in the Park, the beer is flowing, and the schnitzel is fresh and ready to eat. Atwater continued to grow, and about 7 years ago they took over a church in Grosse Pointe Park, and remade it into a brewpub, calling it Atwater in the Park. Atwater in the Park is located at 1175 Lakepointe Street in Grosse Pointe Park. They are hosting a socially-distant Oktoberfest in their biergarten on October 3rd from noon to midnight. You can also celebrate with them virtually by getting Atwater Beer to-go and tagging them in pictures you post on social media, which they may share.
Atwater Brewery teams up with Detroit Pistons for new ale
DETROIT Atwater Brewery teamed up with the Detroit Pistons for a new beer this basketball season. Triple Double will be available at Pistons home games, as well as at stores across Michigan in 16-ounce cans designed with the Pistons logo and colors on them. The light ale has a 3.2 percent ABV. As Detroits hometown brewer, what better way is there than to pay homage to Detroit Basketball and the Pistons? Achieving a triple double in a game is an amazing accomplishment and should be rewarded with an amazing low calorie, low alcohol, great tasting Detroit-made beer that wont slow you down, said Mark Reith, Atwater owner.
