DETROIT – Huntington Bancshares Incorporated -- the parent company of Huntington Bank -- and TCF Financial Corporation -- the parent company of TCF National Bank -- announced Sunday the companies would combine in an all-stock merger, with a total market value of about $22 billion. DETROIT Its the newest song from Detroit rapper and teacher Steven Banks. He named the song Black Lives in honor of George Floyd and black men and women everywhere, It just seems, like the title was fitting, from one of the lines in the song and whats going on right now, said Banks. 34-year old Steven Banks is not just a rappers, but a local history teacher. He said the Black Lives Matter movement is a beautiful thing and he wanted to express that in a creative way, Musically, I wanted to use that voice as I had the opportunity. But he said as a black man and teacher, he wants to show his students that being black is powerful and their lives matter, I think of me as a black man.

Retailers look to boost sales, German car sales weak

Tropical Storm Arthur moved further out to sea Tuesday and was expected to dissipate into a depression before dumping heavy rain on Bermuda later in the week. The first named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season sent rain over North Carolina Monday and forecasters warned to expect dangerous surf and rip currents for another day along parts of the U.S. East Coast. The storm had top sustained winds of 60 mph (95 kmh) Tuesday morning, and was moving east-northeast at 15 mph (24 kmh) on a path that would carry its center over the island of Bermuda on Thursday. Arthur formed Saturday in waters off Florida, marking the sixth straight year that a named storm has developed before June 1. By late Monday, storm watches and warnings in effect for parts of the North Carolina coast were canceled.
