The unknown person also spray-painted the message “Bo Knew” and “#hailtothevictims” next to the statue. Almost 1,200 rapes reported to UM last year were related to Anderson’s abuse, according to a campus safety report. This summer, former players started coming out alleging Schembechler knew about Anderson’s abuse.
