It’s called delta-8 THC, a cannabis compound similar to delta-9-THC, the component in marijuana that’s traditionally associated with the plant’s psychoactive effect. Delta-8 THC comes from the cannabis plant through an extraction and refining process. The products are often sold using “misleading packaging” and may be mistaken for CBD products, the Michigan Poison Center said. Family Video closing, liquidating 20 stores across Michigan

The store closures began in July and are scheduled to continue through October, according to District Manager Randy Scott. Curaleaf scrubs CBD health claims from its pages in response to FDA warning
Curaleaf said Friday it has scrubbed its website and social media accounts of health claims about its CBD products in response to a warning from the Food and Drug Administration.
