Ann Arbors The Ark launches fundraiser to make sure music lives on
It launched the free Ark Family Room Series in April and offers between 15 to 20 virtual programs a month. It wants to raise $25,000 to keep funding programs, like its Ark Family Room Series, that go beyond Ann Arbor. Some supporters are local and loyal fans of the music venue, but others are in Australia, Ireland and the state of Washington. Currently, it is working to develop ticketed events and is exploring ways to make virtual programs more enriching and engaging for patrons. Ann Arbor Art Center launches crowdfunding campaign for mural project
ANN ARBOR, Mich. The Ann Arbor Art Center has launched a crowdfunding campaign to fund a new project creating a series of murals to downtown Ann Arbor. The A2AC Murals project would create a series of up to 10 highly visible murals over the next five months. We know that right now, our communities have many social and financial concerns, said Ann Arbor Art Center President and CEO Marie Klopf in a statement.
