4Frenzy โCoach of the Weekโ: Grosse Pointe North cheerโs Kristina Kaiser
Kristina Kaiser is the varsity cheer coach at Grosse Pointe North High School. Originally she was asked to be the assistant coach for junior varsity and after ten years, Kaiser became the varsity coach of her beloved alma mater. The GPN cheer team is a competitive cheer team. A winner is not a true winner if they have a bad attitude. Coach Kaiser is clearly a wonderful coach, and we at 4Frenzy were happy to name her Coach of the Week!
Grosse Pointe Teacher wins Jeopardy! Teachers Tournament
Ben Henri, a 7th-12th grade vocal music teacher at Grosse Pointe South and Parcells Middle School is from St. Clair Shores, and won the 2020 Jeopardy! Teachers Tournament. He captured the $100,000 grand prize and a berth in the next edition of the Tournament of Champions. Henri went into the last moments of the tournament with a slight lead over Kwait, and he knew he had a good chance of winning when he read the Final Jeopardy! This group of teachers is really special, and most of us are still in touch, which has been helpful as were all facing isolation.The 2020 Teachers Tournament was taped in early February, before shut-down orders were in effect.
Local high school music director on Jeopardy! Teachers Tournament
A local teacher from St. Clair Shores, Ben Henri, will be a contestant on a new episode of Jeopardy! Henri is a 7th-12th grade vocal music director at Grosse Pointe North High School. Its the Teachers Tournament Quarterfinals featuring 15 elite K-12 instructors competing for a $100,000 grand prize and a berth in the next edition of the Tournament of Champions.
