3 people wounded, 1 killed in shootout on Detroitโs west side
DETROIT โ Police said 32-year-old man was killed and three other people were wounded after a shootout Thursday on Detroitโs west side. Detroit police said the incident happened after a 37-year-old man assaulted a woman, who then called family members. Police said that at some point during the altercation, a shootout occurred, resulting in all three men being shot. He was taken to a hospital and listed in stable condition. The 37-year-old man fled the scene and was later taken to a hospital for treatment.
2 young siblings found safe after going missing on Detroitโs west side, police say

Police pursuit ends in crash on Detroitโs west side
DETROIT โ A police pursuit ended in a crash Sunday night on Detroitโs west side. Police said it started when Redford police spotted a carjacking suspect out of Livonia. Michigan State Police joined the pursuit that ended when police said the suspect crashed into a Jeep near the intersection of Plymouth Road and Marlowe Street. According to authorities, the Jeep was transporting a mother and child, who were rushed to the hospital. Police said they are expected to be OK and the suspect was taken into custody.
