Upcoming run raises funds for those with life-threatening blood cancers
ANN ARBOR, MI – An upcoming event lets participants get some exercise, enjoy a picnic and help raise funds for adults and children with life-threatening blood cancers. The Michigan Marrow Donor Dash and Picnic is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, July 31, in Olson Park, 1515 Dhu Varren Road. The 3K run/walk also features a chance to join the bone marrow registry, have lunch at 11 a.m. and enjoy music by DJ Anthony Jones. Proceeds from the Michigan Marrow Donor Dash and Picnic will go to Be The Match and University of Michigan Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cell Therapy Program. The organization is comprised of UM community members and includes the University of Michigan community, the American Red Cross, Gift of Life Michigan, Eversight, and Team Michigan.mlive.com
