Detroit police want help finding 16-year-old boy missing since Dec. 27
DETROIT โ Police are asking for help locating a missing 16-year-old boy from Detroit. Chauncy Jefferson was last seen on Dec. 27 at 10:15 p.m. He left his residence in the 16000 block of St. Marys Street and hasnโt been seen or heard from since. Detroit police: 30-year-old driver injured in crash, hit by stolen vehicle
DETROIT โ Police said a driver was injured after a vehicle that was reported stolen collided with him at the intersection of St. Marys Street and Pembroke Avenue. Detroit police said that at about 3:35 p.m. on Monday, the 30-year-old driver, who was in a white 2015 Dodge Journey, was transported to a hospital and is listed in critical condition. Police said that after the crash, the occupants in the stolen black 2018 Dodge Charger fled the area prior to officers arriving at the scene. Child, adult rescued from house fire on Detroitโs west side
DETROIT โ A house fire on Detroitโs west side Thursday morning sent two people to the hospital. It happened at about 2 a.m. on St. Marys Street. A 2-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital with smoke inhalation and a 45-year-old man is hospitalized with first degree burns to the face and neck. The fire is believed to be accidental, but the investigation is ongoing.
