Update: Southbound lanes of M-39 at Ford Road in Wayne County are back open Identity of woman has not been revealed
WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – The southbound lanes of M-39 at Ford Road in Wayne County have reopened.
The closure Tuesday (Aug. 8) at 4:20 p.m. was due to the discovery of a 62-year-old woman’s body.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) announced the closure so that the police could thoroughly investigate.
The identity of the woman has not been revealed.
