After plenty of cloud cover with a few rain showers or a few snowflakes overnight last night in early this morning, we’ve broken out into some sunshine, but we will keep the cold temperatures around, looking ahead throughout the entire weekend.
Well, we keep some sunshine in the forecast throughout our Saturday, we may have a few showers in our northeastern communities, and up into the thumb, thanks to a little bit of moisture coming off the lake. High temperatures will be well below average, only in the low 50s by Saturday afternoon.
Partly cloudy skies can be expected overnight tonight and early on Sunday morning, and we will keep the cold temperatures around. Overnight lows are dropping into the mid-30s, so patchy frost is possible outside the metro.
A little more cloud cover rolls in for the end of the weekend on Sunday, but we also bring a chance for a few showers through the afternoon into the evening hours. High temperature is about 10° warmer, warming into the low 60s by Sunday afternoon.
Thunderstorm chances are rolling to start next week for Monday and Tuesday, as another cold front rolls through the region. High temperature is going above average, warming into the 70s by Monday afternoon, dropping into the 60s by the time we get to Tuesday.
Then, the colder air returns to the region. High temperatures will drop back into the 50s Wednesday through the end of next week on Friday. We keep the chance of some rain showers in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday, before we dry things out by the end of next week.
