Police responded to call about suspicious man with knife

MONROE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Michigan State Police responded to a trooper-involved shooting in Monroe County.

It happened on Monday evening on the South Dixie Highway near Dunbar.

UPDATE: 1 injured in trooper-involved shooting in Monroe County

Police said they responded to a call about a suspicious man walking the streets with a knife and yelling at cars.
