Robbery suspect shot by police on Detroit’s west side
Police responded to robbery in progress
DETROIT – A robbery suspect was shot by police on Detroit’s west side.
Detroit police responded to the area of West Chicago Street and Schaefer Highway to a robbery in progress. Police said officers shot the suspect when he pointed a gun at them.
A gun was recovered at the scene. The suspect was taken to a hospital.
