DETROIT – The southbound lanes of I-75 have reopened at I-96 in Detroit after being closed for a police investigation early Friday morning.
This section of the freeway on Detroit’s southwest side was closed at around 5 a.m. Friday. I-75 near Clark Avenue was initially closed at around 3 a.m. Friday.
Officials say the freeway has reopened as of 7:40 a.m.
Michigan State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on I-75 Friday morning.
