Part of SB I-75 closed in Detroit through Thursday morning
DETROIT – Southbound lanes on I-75 will be closed on Detroit’s west side overnight Wednesday, Feb. 3 and into the morning of Thursday, Feb. 4, officials say. UPDATE -- 3:40 p.m.: All southbound lanes on I-75 are now open after Seven Mile Road. UPDATE -- 3:11 p.m.: Only the right lane on southbound I-75 after Seven Mile Road remains closed Thursday afternoon. UPDATE -- 2 p.m.: Southbound I-75 was open Thursday afternoon along this stretch, however traffic was backed up. Southbound I-75 lanes between Seven Mile and E. McNichols roads will be closed through Thursday morning due to bridge repairs.
Part of I-75 closed in Detroit Tuesday due to vehicle fire
DETROIT – Northbound lanes are closed on parts of I-75 in Detroit Tuesday afternoon due to a vehicle fire, officials say. UPDATE: As of 6 p.m. Tuesday, all northbound lanes on I-75 at Gratiot Avenue have reopened. As of 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, northbound I-75 is closed at Mack Avenue due to the vehicle fire. As of 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, northbound I-375 is closed at I-75 in Detroit.
