A longtime friend says the California woman killed for apparently refusing to remove an LGBTQ+ rainbow Pride flag from outside her store was adamant that she would never take it down.

Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged former Westland police officer Shawn Dennis Davidson, 52, and Gregory Jay Tittle, 53, of Carleton, in connection with an altercation at a bar.

Police have identified all the members of a biker club involved in the vicious beating of a Carleton man who accidentally bumped into one of them at a bar, officials said.

A Carleton man received 28 staples in his head after being viciously beaten by several members of a biker club because he accidentally bumped into one of them while leaving a bar, police said.

“They’re taking anything -- whether it be a soap dispenser or other item in the bathroom -- and then they take it home,” Krimmel said. “They video themselves with the item and post it on TikTok.”

A motorcyclist died Oct. 1, 2019 in a crash in Lodi Township. (WDIV)LODI TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A 75-year-old motorcyclist died Tuesday when he crashed in Lodi Township. Officials said Charles Arquette, of Carleton, was riding north on Ann Arbor-Saline Road at Textile Road when he crashed about 12:05 p.m. Authorities said Arquette was the only person involved in the crash. The crash is under investigation.
