Driver killed in high-speed crash on Detroit’s west side
DETROIT – Investigators said a driver was killed Tuesday night in a vehicle crash in the middle of a neighborhood on Detroit’s west side. The crash happened in the area of Burt Road and Florence Street. The driver was speeding when he hit another vehicle and was ejected from the car. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The occupants in the other vehicle are OK.Watch the report in the video above.
Detroit police seek missing 42-year-old man last seen Wednesday
DETROIT – Police are looking for Roger Hughes, a 42-year-old man last seen on Detroit’s east side. Police said he was last seen Wednesday at about 5 p.m. near the intersection of Kentucky and Florence streets, a few blocks east of the Lodge Freeway. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black jacket and black shoes.
