Shooting in alley behind party store in Bay City leaves one man dead, police say
BAY CITY, MI — A shooting in Bay City has left one man dead. About 9:50 p.m. on Monday, May 24, Bay City Public Safety officers were dispatched to a report of a person who had been shot in an alley behind Jan’s Party Store, 603 Garfield Ave. in the city’s South End. Officers arrived to find a 25-year-old Bay City resident dead from at least one gunshot wound. “We have several leads,” said Bay City Department of Public Safety Director Michael J. Cecchni. VIDEO: Waterford police seek party store burglar
WATERFORD, Mich. Police are looking for a person who broke into the Lakeview Party Store, located on Cass Lake Road, at about 4 a.m. Aug. 14. According to authorities, the burglar -- wearing a baseball cap, blue hooded sweatshirt, sweat pants and dark shoes -- broke the glass door of the shop with a baseball bat. Police said he took cash from two registers before leaving through the broken door. Investigators are asking for the publics assistance in identifying the suspect. Man shot during argument while walking into Inkster liquor store
INKSTER, Mich. – An argument led to a man getting shot outside an Inkster liquor store Wednesday, police said. Police said the 33-year-old victim was walking into Leon’s Party Store on Inkster Road, just south of Avondale Street, before noon when a man walked up and started arguing with him.
