Detroit police ask for help locating missing 25-year-old man
DETROIT Police are asking for help locating a missing 25-year-old man. Parrish Reed was last seen by his mother on Saturday at 4 p.m. at their home in the 20500 block of Pierson Street. Reed is described as being 6 feet tall and weighs 145 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and black basketball pants. 9-year-old girl killed in house fire on Detroit’s west side
DETROIT – A 9-year-old girl died early Tuesday morning in a house fire on Detroit’s west side. READ: 9-year-old girl dies in fire on Detroit’s west side; siblings rescuedFlames were seen shooting out of the front of the building at around 3 a.m. A mother and father were inside and when they discovered the fire they worked to get the children out safely. The father went to the back of the house and broke windows with his bare hands. “The fire was basically confined to the living room and then to the little dining room off the side. Of course there is heavy smoke damage throughout the entire house,” Fornell said.
Two children, two adults injured in house fire on Detroits west side
Authorities are investigating a house fire on Pearson Street in the area of Joy Road and Evergreen. Sources told Local 4 four people have been taken to the hospital.
