This is the third straight regional title for MCC, which has had a men’s program for only four years. Schoolcraft College to host vaccinations for Plymouth, Canton residents
LIVONIA, Mich. – Canton city officials announced they have a limited number of vaccination appointments available March 10-12. The vaccination appointments are available to residents of Canton, Plymouth and Plymouth Township who are at least 65 years old. The appointments will be at Schoolcraft College’s VisTaTech Center, located on Haggerty Road, just south of Seven Mile Road. Residents can register for appointments on Canton’s official website here.
St. Joe’s opens MercyElite sports center at Schoolcraft College
WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI -- St. Joseph Mercy Health System has launched a sports center on the Schoolcraft College campus. The MercyElite Sports Center will specialize in athletic development and services for sports medicine, physical therapy and sports performance training, according to a news release. “The relationship between St. Joe’s and Schoolcraft College has grown significantly in recent years, which has increased the campus’ access to high quality health care and sports medicine services,” Dave Spivey, president of St. Mary Mercy Livonia, said in the release. “With its many amenities, we anticipate this state-of-the-art complex will quickly become an active hub for our campus community, community members and sports teams from across the area and beyond,” Glenn Cerny, Schoolcraft College president, said in the release. The MercyElite center also has a 1/7-mile walking track for members of Schoolcraft College’s Fitness Center, along with pickleball courts, which can be reserved for a small fee.
