Upgrades planned at Ann Arbor domestic violence shelter amid investigation
WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI - Washtenaw County has spent roughly $31,000 for emergency housing and other services for domestic violence survivors who said they were displaced or refused housing at an Ann Arbor domestic violence shelter currently under investigation from an outside attorney. The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Detroit held a webinar Friday with sextortion survivors, their parents, experts and law enforcement officials. “Sextortion” is a type of online child exploitation. Blockers and filters are another way to prevent your child from harmful content and predators lurking online.
