Ontario to go on province-wide shutdown Dec. 26
(Photo By Raymond Boyd/Getty Images)TORONTO, ONT โ Ontario on Monday announced a province-wide shutdown because of a second wave of COVID-19 in Canadaโs most populous province. The lockdown will be put in place for southern Ontario from Dec. 26 until Jan. 23, but will lift for northern Ontario on Jan. 9. All high schools in Ontario will now be closed for in-person learning until Jan. 25. Dr. Barbara Yaffe, Associate Chief Medical Officer of Health, said Ontario is in a very challenging and precarious situation. Ontario Premier Doug Ford said the delay until Dec. 26 will allow businesses outside the current lockdown zones to get ready for it.

The park offers a full experience and you may catch some bass, catfish or pike. The park offers fishing off the pier and is located just footsteps away from Historic Downtown Wyandotte. Located in Farmington Hills, the Founderโs Fishing Pier offers catch and release fishing with the family. Starting in Oakland County, the Huron River has fishing locations in Dexter, Ann Arbor and Belleville through their MetroParks. A popular access point is Lake St. Clair Metropark in Harrison Township, which provides 1.5 miles of shoreline fishing.
Meet the Artist On The River: Detroit artist has been visiting the riverfront to paint for almost 30 years
DETROIT The Detroit Riverwalk first opened to the public 13 years ago, but one local artist has been enjoying the view long before it was even a riverwalk. Artwork is a way people can express themselves from childhood all the way to retirement and thats the story for a man who calls himself the Artist On The River.Sunn Anderson has been coming to the riverfront to paint for almost 30 years. Im able to express myself, get my message out there and let the world know whats going on in this world, Anderson said.
