DETROIT โ Mario Kelly, a native of Detroit, linked up with two local companies to see if they were interested in his mission to give gifts to families in his old neighborhood who may not get much of a Christmas. Kellyโs old stomping grounds is an apartment complex off Canfield Street, near I-75. He owns Believe 313, a company that provides cleaning services for Shinola and Pak-Rite Industries. โShinola has been doing this Secret Santa for years, and I suggested to them about coming to the neighborhood that I grew up at,โ Kelly said. โAnd they delivered.โKelly found three families who didnโt have much of a Christmas planned who received toys, clothing and more.
Detroit police looking for missing 15-year-old girl who left home Wednesday
DETROIT โ Police are asking for help locating a missing 15-year-old girl. Ariel Wren left her home on Wednesday at 8 p.m. from the 2100 block of E. Canfield Street. She has a medium complexion and was last seen wearing a red bubble winter coat with a jean jacket and white T-shirt underneath with Blue Jean pants.
