Macomb twins graduate high school as dual valedictorians, AP Scholars thanks to sibling rivalry
MACOMB, Mich. Macomb twins Samantha and Madison Sacra are both graduating from Eisenhower High School as valedictorians and AP Scholars. The pair say a little sibling rivalry has helped them both get to the top of the class. Its always been kind of competitive," Samantha Sacra said. At the end of the summer, Madison and Samantha will take their sibling rivalry in different directions. The twins say they will keep working hard in school, especially with a little sister coming up right behind them to keep them motivated.

Local principal pays special tribute to the Class of 2020

That wont happen for the class of 2020, so a special ceremony was held on all of the major TV Networks. Its a hint of disappointment for many seniors apart of Class of 2020. All of my roommates are also graduating, but unfortunately thats now things ended up, said Lindsey Scheidler. Literally no other class will be able to say they had Barack Obama and other celebrities, at their graduation. Topping it off, Former President Barack Obama gave the graduation speech.

Josh Crowell is delivering congratulatory handwritten notes to Class of 2020 students -- who are unable to celebrate graduation with traditional ceremonies and parties due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Earlier this month graduating Michigan State University (MSU) students would have walked across the stage to receive their diploma. Instead they were honored in a virtual ceremony on Saturday due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Weyands husband also graduated from Wayne State University during the pandemic, so he did not get to experience an in-person commencement either. He did receive his undergraduate degree from MSU and had a traditional graduation ceremony then.
