After searching the man’s vehicle police found a loaded handgun inside of it.
29-year-old woman critically stabs man during argument in Detroit
DETROIT – A 29-year-old woman left a 27-year-old man critically injured after stabbing him at 2:45 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Parsons in Detroit. Police say the victim was stabbed during an argument with the woman. The woman who knew the victim was taken into police custody and is being held at the Detroit Detention Center. Michigan AG: Burkman, Wohl arraigned on voter intimidation charges
DETROIT – Two right-wing political operatives accused of voter intimidation in Michigan have turned themselves in to authorities in Detroit, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced Thursday. Jack Burkman and Jacob Wohl appeared virtually for arraignment on multiple felony charges in the 36th District Court in Detroit. Burkman’s probable cause conference is scheduled for Oct. 15 and his preliminary exam is scheduled for Oct. 21 in front of Judge Roberta Archer. Wohl’s probable cause conference is scheduled for Oct. 15 and his preliminary exam is scheduled for Oct. 20 in front of Judge Kenneth King. Arraignments begin at 10:30 a.m., but Burkman and Wohl will be called to appear in order of the court’s established list of cases.

DETROIT - A lawsuit was filed in federal court Friday alleging a man's requests for medical treatment were ignored repeatedly while he was jailed at the Detroit Detention Center. Detroit resident Robert Tucker is suing the City of Detroit; Wayne County; Devonte Brooks, a Detroit police officer; Andrew Zynda, a Detroit police officer; C.D. Corizon Michigan is contracted to provide medical treatment to prisoners held at the Detroit Detention Center. While at the Detroit Detention Center Tucker was interviewed by Thomas. While imprisoned at the Detroit Detention Center, Tucker says no one would listen to him about his arm being broken and ignored his requests for medical attention.
