According to a report by KHQA, the foal, born September 14 at the company’s breeding and training ranch, was named Eminem, and weighed in at between 135 and 150 pounds. The name was derived by combining the first initials of his mother, Marcie, and his father, Miles, but it’s spelled the same as Detroit rapper Eminem. At birth, “Clydesdale foals stand about three feet tall, weigh roughly 150 pounds, and can walk within hours of being born,” KHQA explained.
