A Rochester Hills man is in custody after his girlfriend was found fatally shot in her Auburn Hills apartment, police said.

Warren police are trying to identify five persons of interest after a 26-year-old woman was murdered on her way home from a party over the weekend, authorities said.

A woman who worked at Novi schools for 30 years was found murdered inside her home after she didn’t show up for work, police said. Her husband has been taken into custody, officials said.

An Oakland County woman was found dead in the bathroom of her home after she didn’t show up for work Monday, officials said. Her husband was arrested.

SUPERIOR TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of 41-year-old Luis Rivera-Estrada in Superior Township. Deputies said that at about 8 a.m. on Feb. 19, authorities were dispatched to a vehicle on fire near Clark and LeForge roads. Rivera-Estrada was found dead inside after first responders were able to extinguish the fire. No further information was released at this time. DETROIT Police are investigating after a 25-year-old man was found dead in the 14200 block of Wisconsin Street in Detroit. The victim was found fatally shot on Monday at 5:57 p.m. Police do not have information on a suspect at this time. DETROIT Police discovered the body of a 19-year-old male wrapped in carpet on Friday evening. Officials say the body was found around 8:15 p.m. inside of a vacant dwelling in the 11800 block of Elmdale Street. Medics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased, police said. BEDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Officials have charged a Temperance man with murdering a Bedford Township woman and then beheading her body. Kenny McBride, 45, of Temperance, was taken into custody in connection with the murder of Cecilia Gibson, 79, in Bedford Township, deputies said. Officers took the two family members to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office for questioning.
