Chirine Njeim, who represented Lebanon in both the Summer and Winter Olympics was flying in the plane with her husband Ronny Kamal, 44 and niece Siena Kamal, 17, Sunday when the plane crashed. Ronny Kamal allegedly said there was an issue with the engine just moments after he lifted the landing gear in the Beech A36 Fixed Wing Single Engine plane. Njeim was released from the hospital along with Siena Kamal on Monday, however Ronny Kamal was set to have surgery at some point Monday. Njeim represented Lebanon in the 2002, 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics in the alpine skiing event.
