Pittsfield Township police officers have arrested a Whittaker man linked to a non-fatal shooting.

Pittsfield Township Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the Ann Arbor Airport on Sunday afternoon, responding to a report of an airplane possibly crashing on the airport property.

John Michael Stewart has been sentenced after pleading guilty to animal abuse.

A bicyclist was struck by behind and killed overnight while riding on a Pittsfield Township road in the dark, according to police.

A 35-year-old man was killed Wednesday afternoon during an argument in the parking lot of a Pittsfield Township restaurant, police said.

Police and fire departments were dispatched in the 3200 block of Randolph Court Drive at about 10:43 a.m. on Saturday. Investigators located a deceased man, later identified as 39-year-old Marcus McMullan from Ypsilanti, with a head wound.
