A Michigan State Police chopper followed a driver as he fled officers in a stolen U-Haul and was eventually tackled by a trooper in the middle of a street.

Michigan State Police have apprehended a man who is accused of stealing a U-Haul pickup truck, leading police on a chase on Detroit’s west side.

According to authorities, a 2-year-old was struck by a black Nissan Altima near the intersection of Ward Avenue and Midland Street.

Anyone who has seen Javon Taylor or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department at 313-596-1240.

Police are seeking the public’s help in locating 14-year-old Jayda Gresham, who was last seen on Monday, May 24.
