Severe thunderstorm warning issued for multiple Metro Detroit counties

Watch lasts until 5 a.m. Saturday

DETROIT – The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for multiple Metro Detroit counties.

Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties are under a severe thunderstorm warning until 1 a.m. on Saturday. Livingston and Washtenaw counties are under the same warning until 12 a.m. Saturday.

Lenawee and Monroe are under a severe thunderstorm warning until 12:15 a.m. Saturday.

The following counties are under a severe thunderstorm watch until 5 a.m. Saturday: Lenawee Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, Washtenaw and Wayne.
