DETROIT โ A 22-year-old Detroit man has been charged with fatally shooting a 16-year-old girl during an alleged argument on Sunday. Officials say an argument arose when Reeves arrived at the residence to pick up his daughter from her mother. Officials say the victim was the step-sister of the childโs mother. Reeves reportedly fled the scene following the shooting, but was later apprehended by Detroit police. A 32-year-old woman was also arrested on Monday in connection with the shooting, though it is unclear what her role in the incident was.
Police arrest man, woman in Westland after teenage girl killed on Detroitโs east side
DETROIT โ Police arrested a man and a woman in Westland after a 16-year-old girl was shot and killed in Detroit, according to officials. Detroit police said the teenager got into an argument with a 22-year-old man around 8:25 p.m. Sunday at a home in the 9100 block of Beaconsfield Street on Detroitโs east side. Immediately afterward, a shot was fired into the home and the 16-year-old girl was fatally injured, according to authorities. Medical officials took the girl to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Officials said the 22-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were arrested around 11 a.m. Monday at a home in the 33000 block of Alberta Avenue in Westland.
16-year-old girl fatally shot on Detroitโs east side
DETROIT โ A 16-year-old girl was killed Sunday night when she was shot during an argument. Police said it happened just before 8:30 p.m. on Beaconsfield Street, near Harper Avenue and Outer Drive. Police said the suspect exited the house and fired a shot into the home, striking the 16-year-old girl. She was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Man shot while walking home from work in Harper Woods
HARPER WOODS, Mich. โ A man was shot early Thursday while walking in Harper Woods, police said. According to police, the 18-year-old was walking from work to his home in the 19800 block of Beaconsfield Street just after midnight when he was approached by a tan Buick Lacrosse. Two people got out of the car and fired three shots at the man, police said. The victim ran into his backyard, and the shooters fled the scene in the Lacrosse, which was driven by a third person. Police said the victim was shot once on his finger.
