DETROIT – PETA has placed a billboard near the scene where a semi-truck carrying 38 cows crashed in February. It has since been gone up at 1313 E. Go Vegan,” is a memorial to the cows who were “shot dead” after the crash. “Cows are gentle giants who have thoughts and feelings just like anyone else,” said PETA President Ingrid Newkirk.

DETROIT – The message on a truck scheduled to travel around Michigan this week directly attacks US Secretary of Education, Betsy Devos. The billboard features three LED screens and is making its way to cities across the country including Detroit. “She said she’s been doing puzzles and riding her bike this summer, well that doesn’t help our kids when schools don’t have what they need, schools don’t get what they should,” Offen said. The singer, songwriter and rapper recently showed footage of none other than music legend Beyonc getting down at one of her concerts. Billboard also reported that Taylor Swift's new album "Lover" earned her the top spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The album includes the LGBTQ-themed song "You Need to Calm Down," which also made waves at the VMAs.
