All of Pine Knob’s 2022 scheduled concerts for its 50th anniversary season
CLARKSTON, MI - Snow is still on the ground, but we’re looking ahead to the sizzling summer concert season at Pine Knob Music Theatre. The biggest amphitheater in Michigan, formerly known as DTE Energy Music Theatre, just had its iconic name changed back permanently for this landmark season. Located at 33 Bob Seger Drive in Clarkston, Pine Knob held its first concert on June 25, 1972 with a performance by David Cassidy. It was the largest amphitheater in the country at the time. Here are all of the scheduled concerts, with many more yet to be announced, for 2022 at Pine Knob Music Theatre.

The group has not only rescheduled that concert, but has scheduled a second one for Michigan in 2022. The Grammy-winning band will bring their “Out in the Middle Tour” to Pine Knob Music Theatre on Friday, July 29 and to Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort on Saturday, July 30. This tour will take Zac Brown Band to some of the country’s most iconic venues like Fenway Park, Wrigley Field and the Hollywood Bowl. “Performing in front of millions of fans around the world is one of the most electrifying and humbling feelings,” said Brown.

CLARKSTON, MI - It may be a little chilly outside when Kiss performs what is likely to be their final Michigan concert ever. The September 1 show will now take place on Friday, October 15 at DTE Energy Music Theatre. The rockers had to postpone multiple concerts after Gene Simmons announced he tested positive for COVID-19. His announcement came right after fellow band-mate, Paul Stanley, announced he had just recovered from the virus. Kiss said everyone on the tour, both band and crew, have been fully vaccinated.
