Allegations of sexual misconduct by Zacharias began to surface last fall in social media and news outlets, notably a Sept. 29 article in the evangelical publication Christianity Today. It asserted that over about five years, he sexually harassed three women who worked as massage therapists at two day spas he co-owned in an Atlanta suburb. The law firm, Miller & Martin, issued a scathing report last month based on interviews with more than 50 people, including more than a dozen massage therapists. Five of the therapists said Zacharias touched them inappropriately, and one said she was raped, according to the report. DETROIT Residents in Detroits Rosedale Park Historic District said they are fed up with cars speeding around a curve, causing drivers to lose control and crash on a routine basis. On the daily, somebody speeding around this curve, not realizing the depth of it. We hear the screeching of the tires, we hear it all, and then we come out and see, Davis said. This guy missed the curve, hit the pole, knocked over the garbage can and ran into the ladys yard across the street, Davis said in the recording. The city of Detroit will begin looking into what can be done to slow the traffic down.

Sarah Davis, a 20-year National Park Service veteran, will become the park's 18th chief ranger -- and the first female to officially hold the role. (Yellowstone has had interim or acting chief rangers who were female, said a park spokeswoman.) She has held other positions at Vicksburg and Guilford Courthouse National Military Parks, Harpers Ferry National Historic Park, Manassas National Battlefield Park, Independence National Historic Park, Assateague Island National Seashore, and Blue Ridge Parkways.

Melanie Davis was last seen July 5 at her home in the 18000 block of Birchcrest Drive, police said. Davis is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. 'How to Get Away with Murder' to end with Season 6

This little officer is spreading love to nursing homes across Kansas City, Kansas. Oliver Davis, 7, has been giving out hugs, flowers and tickets for being "too cute" to elderly patients in nursing homes. The idea came from having a conversation with his mom, Brandi Davis, about what it means to be a police officer. Oliver then had the idea to pick up flowers and hand them out to patients at his grandmothers nursing home. After the first nursing home he was hooked, said Davis, At the first nursing home he said, 'Is it OK to give them a hug?'

It will be a very happy Fourth of July for the American, who only made it into the Wimbledon main draw as a lucky loser after suffering defeat in qualifying over the weekend. The 25-year-old Davis will now play Spain's Carla Surez Navarro on Saturday.
Tutoring program helps children across Detroit
DETROIT Large class sizes and a lack of funding plague public schools across the country, and Detroit is no exception. Aretha Davis, Linda Lee and Zion Chapel Church in Detroit came up with a solution: a tutoring program. Word quickly spread, and Davis and Lee found themselves running a program for children across Detroit. Thanks to grants and donations from area organizations and a devoted retired Detroit Public Schools bus driver, the tutoring program meets every Saturday morning during the school year. Step by step, Davis, Lee and all the volunteers at Stepping Stones to Success are creating a community of learning in the heart of Detroit.
