Taco Bell is putting Mexican Pizza back on its menu
Taco Bell announced this week it will add the Mexican Pizza back to its menu starting Sept. 15. The fast-food chain removed the beloved menu item in 2020 to “streamline” its offerings. But the Mexican Pizza was then again (temporarily) removed because Taco Bell couldn’t keep up with demand from customers. “Our menu is full of fan favorites, but the Mexican Pizza is at the top of that list,” Mark King, CEO of Taco Bell, said in a release at the time. “From its flashy introduction to menus in 1985 as ‘Pizzazz Pizza’ to its inspiration behind the creation of infamous jingles, Mexican Pizza has a long history with the brand and I’m glad we could give fans what they crave and bring our classic Mexican Pizza back home where it belongs,” King added.

Lessons from the trip Martin Luther King Jr. took to Michigan State University in 1965

Don’t let the bullies with the rifles and shotguns intimidate you,” said Dr. Green. And both Dr. Green who is now 87 and Washington, 76, more than 50 years later believe that much of what King spoke about in that speech is still being fought for today.
