Detroit Police are searching for a man who reportedly fired shots at officers Saturday night.

One girl was killed and another girl was injured in a shooting overnight at a Detroit house, police said.

The Detroit police are searching for a man who shot and killed two people on Detroit’s west side, officials say. The shooting happened on Evergreen Road between Lyndon Street and Schoolcraft. Police say the man they’re looking for was in the vehicle with the two victims outside the Smith Homes Apartments.

Detroit firefighters have declared a “hazmat level 1″ situation due to hazardous materials inside those vehicles, officials said. DETROIT Six people, including three young children, were transported to a hospital after a rollover crash. Police said a mother was driving in a vehicle with her three young children when a man in an Impala ran a stop sign and T-boned her vehicle. The mans vehicle rolled over and ended upside down, according to police. Firefighters worked to get him out of the vehicle and he was transported to a hospital. The three children and their mother were also transported to a hospital.

A 34-year-old man was driving a Lincoln Continental west on Lyndon Street and struck a Kia Optima driving north on Outer Drive. Police said two men inside the Kia died and a 14-year-old girl -- who was a passenger -- was rushed to a hospital. Local 4 is waiting on toxicology reports and an accident report from police to show what led up to the crash.
