A woman was arrested after walking around an apartment complex in Monroe Township with a semi-automatic pistol.

A woman was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and fleeing and eluding on Sunday morning in Monroe County after a chase with police.

Officials say a Frenchtown Township man has been arrested for his part in committing vandalism to multiple businesses within Monroe Township over the past several months.

Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that happened Saturday at 11:46 p.m. on South Dixie Highway north of Tanager Drive in Monroe Township.

He entered the intersection at Dixie Highway without yielding to oncoming traffic, officials said. He was struck by a semi truck heading south on South Dixie Highway, according to authorities. The semi truck driver, a 41-year-old man from Ohio, was taken to ProMedica Monroe with non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.
