Man, 6-year-old child injured in paraglider crash in Casco Township
CASCO TOWNSHIP, Mich. A man and a 6-year-old child have been injured in a paraglider crash that occurred Tuesday evening. The St. Clair County Sheriffs Office says at about 7:30 p.m. the 69-year-old man, of Clay Township, took off from a residence in a paraglider with a 6-year-old passenger in the 5600 block of Palms Road. Officials say the paraglider did not gain altitude quickly enough and struck high tension power lines, which caused the paraglider to fall to the ground. Both passengers were transported to the hospital. Their injuries and conditions have not yet been released.
Mount Clemens man arrested after stabbing at mobile home park, police say
CASCO TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A 23-year-old Mount Clemens man was arrested Tuesday after a stabbing in a mobile home park, according to authorities. Deputies with the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office were called before 11 p.m. Tuesday to the Americana Estates Mobile Home Park in Casco Township. Deputies found a 20-year-old Casco Township man outside a home on Bart Drive. who they arrested at another home in the park, officials said. The man is also being held on a parole violation and a misdemeanor warrant out of Macomb County, police said.
Police find missing 12 year-old boy from St. Clair County
FORT GRATIOT TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office were searching for 12 year-old Timothy Brent-Paul Armstead. According to investigators, Armstead left his home Wednesday afternoon in Fort Gratiot Township following an argument with his mother and did not returned to his home in the Brandymore Pines Mobile Home Park. UPDATE: He has been found safe. Michigan State Police issued an Endangered Missing Advisory for Armstead.
