A Detroit man fired a gun through the closed door of a home and killed his 23-year-old brother, police said.

A Detroit man has been charged with murder in connection with the strangulation of a woman in 1997.

A man murdered his 22-year-old brother during an argument overnight on Detroit’s west side, police said.

DETROIT – A 48-year-old woman was shot and killed overnight on Detroit’s west side, according to officials. Police said the shooting happened at 4:05 a.m. Wednesday (March 10) near Fenkell Avenue and Sussex Street. The woman was driven to a nearby hospital, but she died in the emergency room, authorities said. Detroit officers said they don’t have any additional information about the shooting or any suspects.

DETROIT Police are looking for two men wanted in connection to a Saturday afternoon shooting that put a 15-year-old boy in the hospital. According to authorities, just after 5 p.m., a 15-year-old boy and his friend met up with the suspects in the 14100 block of Sussex Street, just south of Grand River Avenue. Police said the 15-year-old was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money and a second suspect fired shots at the teen as he ran away. DETROIT A 21-year-old man was killed Sunday after a shooting on on Detroits west side. It happened at about 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Sussex Street and Clarita Avenue, just south of Seven Mile Road. Neighbors gathered outside Sunday afternoon to embrace each other and try to understand why a man would be shot as he sat in his car. Police said he was sitting in the passenger seat of a Hyundai when a white Jeep pulled up. The shooting happened in broad daylight in a neighborhood with a lot of children.
