Gunman in violent murder of 28-year-old Warren resident arraigned
WARREN, Mich. – On Friday, a 28-year-old Warren man died after being shot five times in the head and neck by a 27-year-old man, police say. The suspect was arrested in Detroit and taken into police custody on Saturday, according to Warren Police Commissioner, William Dwyer. Warren police say evidence collected showed the gunman shot the victim while he was on the ground in the parking lot of the apartment complex. Police say the gunman shot the victim three additional times in the head as he was on the ground unable to defend himself. The gunman was arraigned Tuesday at 2 p.m. on charges at the Warren 37th District Court.

Teen to stand trial for deadly shooting of 10-year-old boy in Warren
WARREN, Mich. – A 15-year-old boy who has been charged with second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of a 10-year-old boy in Warren is expected to stand trial. The teen is being charged as an adult following the deadly shooting of 10-year-old Orran “O.J.” Baugh on July 22 at the Warren Manor Apartments. Authorities said the 10-year-old boy was shot in the chest at about 1:05 p.m. in the 21500 block of Dequindre Road. The second-degree murder charge mandates a life sentence in prison. Siblings of 10-year-old killed in Warren shooting speak out
WARREN, Mich. – Local 4 is still waiting for the arraignment of a 15-year-old involved, but we’re told that will happen by Commissioner Bill Dwyer of the Warren Police Department. In the mean time, the victims siblings are having an awful time mourning the life of this little boy. Hours later and the pain of losing a sibling is still still fresh for sister and brother Carnajah and Cardell. Their brother, 10-year-old Orran Baugh, sometimes known as OJ, died after being shot in the chest in an apartment shooting that remains under investigation. We’re told Orran was a rising 5th grader.
