4Warn Weather – Southeast Michigan saw a round of rain and thunderstorms move through early this morning. While some picked up less than a quarter-inch of rain, other areas in Washtenaw, Lenawee, and Monroe counties picked up at least 3 inches.
Most of the remainder of our Monday will be dry with sun and clouds. Highs will be in the mid 80s before we fall to the mid 60s tonight.
As a front stalls to the south of us, we’ll continue to see rain chances for the next couple of days.
Southeast Michigan could see a few strong storms this evening, late tonight, and Tuesday afternoon. The main threats with these storms will be heavy rain, damaging winds, and large hail.
Isolated rain will develop this afternoon and evening, with rain chances carrying into the late-night hours - particularly closer to the Ohio state border.
Tuesday afternoon and evening we’ll have another chance at rain, especially further southward.
Rain chances will linger into Wednesday before we dry out for the rest of the week.
Highs Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the lower 80s. We’ll be slightly cooler, with highs near 80°, to wrap up the week.
