Man charged with open murder after 2 men killed in Adrian, police say
ADRIAN, Mich. โ A man has been charged with open murder after two men were killed in Adrian, according to police. Christopher Lee-Ryan Carden, 34, is accused in the killings of Robert Braman, 67, and Samuel Compton, 82, both of Adrian, authorities said. Adrian police officers were called at 10:30 p.m. Friday (Jan. 15) to a home in the 900 block of Frank Street, officials said. Carden crashed the stolen vehicle and was taken into custody without incident after a fleeing the crash scene on foot, according to officials. He is charged with two counts of open murder, one count of unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle and one count of third-degree fleeing a police officer.
Person of interest arrested in Adrian double homicide
DETROIT โ The bodies of two men were discovered at 10:30 p.m. Friday at a home in the 900 block of Frank Street in Adrian after police went there to complete a welfare check. A person of interest in the double homicide has been arrested. According to police, the person of interest fled the scene in a vehicle that later crashed. Police say the person of interest then ran away from the crash scene on foot and was taken into custody shortly afterward. Adrian police seek man responsible for Christmas Eve stabbing

Police said the victim was transported to a hospital in Toledo but the other man left on foot before police could arrive. Adrian Police were assisted at the scene by the Adrian Fire Department. Man with black bicycle accused of robbing Adrian gas station
ADRIAN, Mich. โ Police are searching for a man with a black bicycle who robbed a gas station in Adrian, officials said. The strong-arm robbery happened around 11:50 p.m. Saturday at the Shell Spee-D-Mart at 507 West Beecher Street, according to authorities. Police said the man was last seen riding a black bicycle north on North Main Street. He is in his 20s, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and has a thin build, witnesses said.
