Detroit police seek missing 15-year-old girl last seen Friday
DETROIT โ Police are looking for Misty Foster, a 15-year-old girl last seen Friday at 5 p.m.Police said she left her house, located in the 13000 block of Saint Aubin Street, just east of Dequindre Street, to go to her auntโs house and hasnโt been seen or heard from since. She is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a brown and pink bear on the front, black pants and black shoes. DDOT bus driver injured in multi-vehicle crash near Dequindre, East Outer Drive
DETROIT โ A Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) bus driver is in the hospital after a violent crash on Detroitโs east side that involved multiple vehicles. It happened at the intersection of Dequindre Street and East Outer Drive. Police said a 23-year-old driver of a Purple Magnum caused the multi-car crash involving a DDOT bus at the intersection. The bus hit some poles and the bus driver was ejected from the vehicle. The bus driver is recovering at the hospital.
Man shot more than 10 times while stopped at red light in Detroit, police say
DETROIT โ Two people were injured in a shooting while stopped at a red light, police said. The shooting happened at 7 Mile Road and Dequindre Street in Detroit at 9:17 p.m. on Tuesday. A 24-year-old man was shot more than 10 times and privately conveyed to a hospital, police said. A 22-year-old woman was transported by medics to a hospital and is in stable condition. Both victims were inside a red Chevrolet Impala.
Police investigate stabbing in near Dequindre, Carpenter in Hamtramck
HAMTRAMCK, Mich. โ An investigation is underway in Hamtramck after someone was stabbed near Dequindre Street and Carpenter Avenue. Itโs not known what led to the stabbing. The victimโs condition also is not known at this time.
Fire truck involved in violent crash in Detroit
DETROIT - A crash investigation is underway after a fire truck hit several cars and a utility pole Monday night on East Outer Drive at Dequindre Street. Firefighters who were responding to a call lost control of the vehicle, crashing into several cars, and then into a pole, bringing down power lines. No one was seriously hurt.
