6 in Michigan make list of โ100 safest citiesโ in US
Do you live in one of Americaโs safest cities? SafeWise released their annual list of the 100 safest cities in the U.S. this month, and Michigan accounted for six of the safest communities. New Jersey dominates the list for the second consecutive year with 25% of the safest cities in the countryโbut only one (Bergenfield) made it into the top five. Metro Detroit weather: Beautiful forecast as summer officially winds down
The last few days of the season will be phenomenal in Metro Detroit. Expect highs both days near 80 degrees with more sun than clouds. We won't see rain again until the weekend, and it looks like it will rain during the second half. The last full day of summer is Sunday, which won't be quite as nice. The river flood warning should remain in effect until late Friday.

Parts of Livingston County under boil water advisory
A precautionary boil water advisory is in effect Monday for all Livingston Community Water Authority (LCWA) users within Hamburg Township, Brighton Township and Green Oak Charter Township. A spokesman for LCWA said there was a mechanical failure at a well site which caused a loss of pressure on Sunday night. Pressured has been restored, but since there was a total loss of water pressure the precautionary boil water advisory was put in effect. Woman rescued from lake in Hamburg Township dies
HAMBURG TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ A woman who was rescued from a lake in Hamburg Township has died, police said. According to the Livingston Daily, the woman was hospitalized after police found her floating with no pulse in Whitewood Lake Thursday afternoon. An officer responding to the situation went into the lake and pulled the woman to shore, where another officer performed CPR, the paper reported. Police said the woman did not have a pulse when she was taken out of the water. After CPR was performed, her pulse came back and she was taken to a local hospital.
Hamburg Township release sketch of man who allegedly exposed himself to 2 teens
HAMBURG TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ Police in Hamburg Township are seeking the public's assistance in locating a man wanted in connection with an indecent exposure complaint. The girls walked away from the man, but noticed him again a short time later again with his pants down, according to police. The girls told police that the man began to follow them, but left after they entered a nearby store. The man is described to be a white male, five feet 8 inches tall with a thin build and short dark hair. He was was seen riding a mountain bike and was wearing a black shirt with white lettering and purple and black pants.
