Follow Josh VanDyke on Twitter24 Parma Western girls basketball hosts Jackson NorthwestJACKSON – The Parma Western girls basketball team secured its second straight Interstate Eight Conference championship in dominating fashion this winter. The Panthers won 11 of 13 of their league games by double digits and carried that regular-season momentum in the Division 2 state tournament, where they won the school’s first-ever regional championship. Western continued their historical run to the Division 2 state semifinals before falling to eventual state champion Portland 45-38 on April 7.
