1 injured in car fire on North Adams Road in Rochester Hills
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. โ Fire crews were sent to a crash and vehicle fire on Monday at 5 p.m. on North Adams Road, north of Walton Boulevard in Rochester Hills. The passenger was found on the grass about 30 feet from the vehicle that was on fire, officials said. North Adams Road was closed for more than 2 hours for investigation and cleanup of the scene. Man steals $300 in change from Waterford Township gas station, officials say
WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ Waterford Township police are searching for a man who stole $300 worth of change from a gas station, officials said. Police said the incident happened at the BP gas station at 4663 Walton Boulevard. The man pulled up, unlocked the front door, walked into the store and removed the change box from the employeeโs side of the counter, according to authorities. He was wearing a blue jacket, light-colored pants, light-colored shoes and a multicolored winter hat, police said. Anyone who recognizes him or has information about the incident is asked to call Waterford Township police at 248-618-6077 or the anonymous tip line at 248-674-COPS.
Suspected intruder found dead after Rochester Hills home invasion
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. - The Oakland County Sheriff's Department is investigating a home invasion and assault in which the suspected intruder was found dead in the home. Sources said the home invasion and assault happened early Monday morning in the area of Walton Boulevard and Livernois Road. The intruder assaulted the resident and appeared to have cut himself inside the home, which is believed to have led to his death.
