Woman killed in altercation on Plymouth Road in Detroit
DETROIT โ A 58-year-old woman died Saturday night amid an altercation that turned physical on Detroitโs west side. A preliminary investigation by Detroit police indicated that the victim accompanied a 55-year-old man, who was involved in a verbal altercation with another man in the 14600 block of Plymouth Road. Police said the second man allegedly entered his vehicle and struck the 55-year-old manโs Ford Taurus. The 58-year-old woman was standing behind the Taurus at the time and was struck by the vehicle. Detroit gas station shoot-out kills 1, injures another
DETROIT โ Police are investigating a verbal altercation that led to a deadly shooting at a Detroit gas station on Wednesday. At about 10:20 p.m. occupants inside of a silver Ford Taurus engaged in a verbal altercation with occupants inside a black Ford Fusion in the 15200 block of 7 Mile Road near Hayes Street, police said. The altercation led to a shoot-out between the passengers of both vehicles. Two men who were standing near the vehicles at the time of the shooting were struck by gunfire, police said. DETROIT Two men were shot inside of a vehicle in Detroit on Saturday. Police say two men were sitting in a silver 2005 Ford Taurus around 8:20 p.m. in the 5200 block of Lakeview Street when an unknown suspect fired shots and struck both of them. One man, 27, was fatally wounded, police said. The other man was taken to the hospital and listed in temporary serious condition. TRENTON โ Police believe an 86-year-old Trenton woman could be in danger. Irene Kin was last seen in the 2300 block of Pinetree Drive in Trenton, according to authorities. Kin is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has blue eyes and gray hair, police said. She was wearing a light blue jacket and driving a light green 2002 Ford Taurus, according to officials. On surveillance video, all three carjackers can be seen waiting inside the vehicle for the victims to exit the gas station. Once the victims exited the gas station, the carjackers exited their vehicle and demanded the victims' property at gunpoint, police say. The first carjacker is described by police as a heavyset black male around 6 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing 280 pounds.

Mark Lada drove away from his Lodi Township home sometime before 7 a.m. on Sunday in a 2001 beige Ford Taurus (Michigan plate: DKP2799), according to the release. Lada left his phone, wallet, credit cards and money at home when he left.
