ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI – Police are searching for a 4-year-old child who they said was kidnapped by his father. Gordon Greene III was taken by his father Gordon Green Jr., during a supervised visit July 26 in Trowbridge Township, the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office said. Police believe Greene Jr. took his son in a 2000 tan or gold Ford Taurus with Michigan license plate EKS9447. Gordon Greene III, 4, was kidnapped by his father July 26, 2022, in Allegan County, the sheriff's office said. The parents do not have custody of Greene III and he is considered kidnapped, police said.

MONROE COUNTY, MI – A man was killed Friday evening in a head-on crash with an oncoming pickup on M-50 in Monroe County. Rescue crews were called at 6:06 p.m. July 2, to a two-vehicle rollover crash on M-50 near Dixon Road in Raisinville Township, according to Michigan State Police. A Ford Taurus going east on M-50 crossed the centerline and collided with a Ford F-150 going west causing the pickup to roll multiple times, police said. The driver of the Taurus was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The Ida Township Fire Department, Dundee Township Fire Department, LMR Fire Department, Monroe Community Ambulance and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.

Police said the second man allegedly entered his vehicle and struck the 55-year-old man’s Ford Taurus. The 58-year-old woman was standing behind the Taurus at the time and was struck by the vehicle. Detroit gas station shoot-out kills 1, injures another
DETROIT – Police are investigating a verbal altercation that led to a deadly shooting at a Detroit gas station on Wednesday. At about 10:20 p.m. occupants inside of a silver Ford Taurus engaged in a verbal altercation with occupants inside a black Ford Fusion in the 15200 block of 7 Mile Road near Hayes Street, police said. The altercation led to a shoot-out between the passengers of both vehicles. Two men who were standing near the vehicles at the time of the shooting were struck by gunfire, police said. DETROIT Two men were shot inside of a vehicle in Detroit on Saturday. Police say two men were sitting in a silver 2005 Ford Taurus around 8:20 p.m. in the 5200 block of Lakeview Street when an unknown suspect fired shots and struck both of them. One man, 27, was fatally wounded, police said. The other man was taken to the hospital and listed in temporary serious condition. Missing 86-year-old Trenton woman considered endangered, police say
TRENTON – Police believe an 86-year-old Trenton woman could be in danger. Irene Kin was last seen in the 2300 block of Pinetree Drive in Trenton, according to authorities. Kin is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has blue eyes and gray hair, police said. She was wearing a light blue jacket and driving a light green 2002 Ford Taurus, according to officials. Woman struck by car in Frenchtown Twp. undergoes surgery
A Monroe woman underwent surgery for injuries she received when she was struck by a 2004 Ford Taurus while standing along N. Dixie Hwy. The vehicles passenger side mirror struck a mailbox prior to colliding with the woman, a sheriffs report said. The driver told deputies he dozed off and woke up to see his windshield shattered and then saw the victim lying on the ground. A witness told deputies she saw the victim thrown into the air above the vehicle following the collision. The driver was released at the scene, but is facing a charge of careless operation of a motor vehicle causing serious injury.
