Broken water mains have been a big problem across the city this winter, and now another break is impacting a Detroit neighborhood while also frustrating families.

An Amazon delivery driver was carjacked in Detroit while there were about 110 packages inside the vehicle, police said.

A Detroit man was arrested Friday after a criminal complaint filed in federal court charged him with sex trafficking.

DETROIT – Police are asking for help locating a missing 13-year-old girl. Malaya Gregory was last seen on Wednesday at 6 a.m. in the 14000 block of Pembroke Avenue. DETROIT – Police said a driver was injured after a vehicle that was reported stolen collided with him at the intersection of St. Marys Street and Pembroke Avenue. Detroit police said that at about 3:35 p.m. on Monday, the 30-year-old driver, who was in a white 2015 Dodge Journey, was transported to a hospital and is listed in critical condition. Police said that after the crash, the occupants in the stolen black 2018 Dodge Charger fled the area prior to officers arriving at the scene. DETROIT – Two people were killed, a third is listed in critical condition and two others were injured in a crash late Wednesday on Detroit’s west side. A mans body was found in the trunk of a snow-covered car on Detroits west side, police said. Officials received a call about the body around 10:30 a.m. Friday from the 20000 block of Murray Hill Street near Greenfield Road and Pembroke Avenue. The body was pulled from the trunk just after 2:10 p.m. Friday. Police said the man is in his 60s. The circumstances surrounding his death are still unclear, officials said.

DETROIT - Firefighters received a frantic call Thursday morning when a fire broke out at a house on Pembroke Avenue. Medical personnel said the children have stabilized and are expected to be OK."I thought I lost everything," Robinson said.

However, a neighbor said there were three children rushed to the hospital. It looked like a toddler, and there were two babies," said neighbor Asia Tucker.
